Consultant – Heritage

Lauren is a heritage consultant with a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Advanced Studies majoring in Archaeology and Ancient History and Honours in Archaeology from the University of Sydney. As part of this, she has gained archaeological fieldwork experience in both NSW and QLD. This includes excavation on an Aboriginal rock shelter site as well as survey and site recording of other rock art sites, lithic scatters, and stone arrangements in the Blue Mountains. She was also involved in an historical excavation in Ipswich, QLD. Lauren has recently completed her honours in archaeology at the University of Sydney in 2023, with a thesis focusing on Aboriginal rock art conservation by conducting photogrammetry and LiDAR 3D-imaging on pigment art sites in the Blue Mountains. Lauren has undertaken numerous archaeological surveys with a specific focus on the use of digital conservation for Aboriginal rock shelters.
She is a member of the international organisation Computer Applications and Quantitative Methods in Archaeology (CAA).
