Jane is a senior heritage consultant with over 16 years’ heritage industry experience. Jane has worked as a contract archaeologist and heritage consultant and with the City of Gold Coast Heritage Unit as Acting Coordinator Cultural Heritage Development (2 years) and as Senior Heritage Planner (7 years).
 
Jane has extensive experience in the development of strategic heritage planning programs, understanding development impacts on heritage places, and undertaking research and significance assessments for local and state heritage places. She also has extensive knowledge and experience in developing and reviewing local heritage registers, planning scheme provisions and heritage policy, particularly in the local government setting, and strong skills in applying state and local heritage legislation, non-statutory guidelines, and strategic heritage planning practices. Jane also has demonstrated experience in undertaking Indigenous heritage projects.
