Niche celebrates 15 years of delivering excellence in your environment

This month marks 15 years since Niche was founded to find a better way of building a sustainable future for people and nature.

Niche was founded in 2009 by Jamie Reeves and Matthew Richardson to provide purpose-driven and specialised environmental and heritage consultancy services. Since then, Niche has grown to be one of Australia’s leading independent consultancies with a team of 100 experts working over six offices across the East Coast, striving to deliver influential solutions across our Ecology, Heritage Management, Natural Capital and Offsetting, and Spatial Services areas of expertise.

Over the past 15 years, Niche has remained committed to our vision of empowering people to create a sustainable future. Our team has delivered over 3,700 projects and achieved a range of positive outcomes such as establishing more than 40 Biodiversity Stewardship Sites to protect 37,000 hectares of land and consulting with over 150 First Nations parties to preserve cultural heritage.

Reflecting on the anniversary, founding partner Jamie Reeves commented:

Founding partner Matt Richardson also commented:
