Experienced Consultant - Heritage
Sotiria is a heritage consultant and archaeologist based in Melbourne, Victoria. She has just under two years’ experience in Australian heritage consultancy, including historical and Aboriginal heritage, Dry Stone Wall Management Plans, archaeological survey, excavation, due diligence assessments, Heritage Consents, Cultural Heritage Management Plans, and Preliminary Aboriginal Heritage Tests.
She graduated with a First Class Honours specialising in Archaeology and Ancient History from Monash University. Sotiria is skilled in photographic archival recording, primary and secondary source analysis and interpretation, database research, and Traditional Owner and community engagement. She has successfully undertaken archaeological surveys and excavations across various environments with field experience in Victoria, including excavations in the UNESCO World Heritage listed Budj Bim Cultural Landscape in southwestern Victoria.
Sotiria is a member of the Australian Archaeological Association (AAA), Australasian Society for Historical Archaeology (ASHA), and Dry Stone Wall Association of Australia (DSWAA).
