Acquisition builds capacity in Queensland

Today Niche (Niche Environment and Heritage Pty Ltd) announces it has entered into binding share sale and purchase agreement to acquire Ausecology (Ausecology Pty Ltd).

Announcing the acquisition of Ausecology, Niche’s Managing Director Ian Rollins, said:

“Niche is one of Australia’s largest privately owned consultancies with nature, biodiversity and heritage as primary core services. The acquisition of Ausecology enhances Niche’s capacity and capability to support clients across all the sectors and jurisdictions that the combined businesses service.”

“This acquisition responds to Niche’s 5-year strategy to strengthen Niche’s core environmental capability in Queensland and grow Niche’s market share on the east coast of Australia,” said Mr Rollins.

Ralf Regeer and Lainie Grigg, Ausecology founders and directors, have accepted management and technical leadership roles at Niche.
