Luke has over ten years’ experience in the fields of natural area restoration, weed management and ecological consulting. He has been involved in ecological monitoring surveys, vegetation surveys and mapping, BioBanking assessments, bush regeneration rehabilitation projects, vegetation management plans, opportunities and constraints assessments, reviews of environmental factors and impact assessments.
 
Luke has carried out ecological surveys in the Illawarra, Sydney Catchment Area, Western Sydney, NSW Central Coast and Southeast Queensland.
 
He has also been involved in a number of State Significant Infrastructure projects for large-scale developments, quarry operations, and major coal mining companies, including long-term ongoing monitoring of the impacts of subsidence due to longwall mining on native vegetation, as well as survey and impact assessments for proposed longwall mining and coal mining exploration activities in the Sydney Catchment Area.
