Principal - Heritage, Osteoarchaeologist/Zooarchaeologist

Deirdre is a heritage consultant with almost 20 years of archaeological experience working on a wide range of projects including research, site surveys, subsurface testing, salvage excavations, and post-excavation analysis at Indigenous and non-Indigenous sites across various states in Australia (NSW, ACT, WA, and VIC) and overseas. She also has almost 10 years of consulting experience in managing and participating in all aspects of both Indigenous and non-Indigenous archaeology projects undertaken for a range of Federal and State government agencies, private companies, and individuals throughout NSW and ACT. Deirdre is a member of the Australian Archaeological Association (AAA) and the International Council for Archaeozoology (ICAZ).
Deirdre is an osteoarchaeologist who specialises in burial practices and the excavation and analysis of skeletal remains and faunal analysis.
