Matt has worked since 2018 as a GIS specialist, and for the five years prior in cultural heritage in Queensland and New South Wales. He draws upon his extensive experience in a diverse range of GIS products and workflows, including remote sensing, spatial modelling, spatial analysis and cartography.

Matt is committed to managing the GIS team at Niche to consistently deliver high-quality spatial products that are accurate, timely, clear, and concise.

Matt is also highly skilled in technical and scientific illustration, data visualisation, and presentation. Matt holds a Graduate Diploma in Geographic Information Science and a PhD in Archaeology that focused on the spatial analysis of archaeological material and remote sensing of marine environments.
