Due to a strong pipeline of interesting work for our growing client base across the state, Niche’s Queensland consulting team is expanding and we are excited to announce the appointment of Stewart Armstrong.

Stewart is a registered architect and is passionate about the conservation, adaptation, interpretation and promotion of heritage places, and the design of new buildings in heritage contexts. His extensive experience comes from senior roles with the Queensland Government’s Heritage Branch, National Trust of Australia (Queensland), and most recently in private consulting as the heritage architect for two major projects in Brisbane, Queens Wharf and Herston Quarter.
Stewart has also been involved in a range of advocacy and promotional events to raise the profile and understanding of heritage places and conservation, including Brisbane Open House and Great Houses of Ipswich open days.
“Stewart’s deep knowledge, wide ranging experience and strong relationships within the government and urban development sectors will add real weight to our heritage consulting team, as we continue to deliver excellence to our clients,” said Queensland Regional Manager Cameron Harvey.
Stewart commences his role with Niche in September and will be based at our Queensland head office in Brisbane.
