The recent and ongoing bushfires across Australia have caused devastation to our natural environment and cultural heritage values.
The entire team at Niche is sincerely grateful to our emergency services, firefighting agencies, and volunteers. It is heart-warming to see the Australian spirit bringing people together to provide support to communities and wildlife affected by the recent bushfires.
We have been deeply saddened by the tragic loss of human life and property, and our thoughts are with all those who have been affected – including members of our own staff, our clients, friends, and families across the country.
How to stay safe
Bushfire season will continue for weeks to come and we urge you to stay safe. Follow advice from your local fire services and authorities and keep out of harm’s way.
For those working in or traveling through bushfire prone areas, please consider the CFA’s online bushfire safety course. It provides important information on how to act in emergency situations. The course is free, takes about 45 minutes and could save lives: https://www.cfa.vic.gov.au/bushfire-safety-for-workers
Where to donate?
Niche will be donating to Red Cross and other charities dealing with the impacts of the fires and providing practical support to those in need.
We urge others to donate if they can.
