Niche Environment and Heritage has been chosen by the NSW Department of Planning, Industry and Environment (formerly OEH) for inclusion in a register of suppliers for specialist services relating to the management of threatened species, populations and ecological communities in the North Eastern region of NSW.

The Department’s register acknowledges Niche as a supplier of a broad range of environmental services:
• Flora and/or fauna survey
• Pest or weed management or monitoring
• GIS, remote sensing, mapping or spatial analysis
• Water quality and aquatic biota survey
• Threatened biodiversity research
Lawrence Smith, regional manager in NSW, said, “Our consultants utilise their significant local knowledge and take the time to understand our clients and their projects’ specific ecology and heritage needs.”
