If you’re in Cairns, be sure to visit ECOfiesta on Sunday 2 June. This annual community event is a celebration of the natural environment and sustainable living in Tropical North Queensland, and is organised by Cairns Regional Council.
This year, for the first time, Niche will be sponsoring the event. Visitors are invited to come along and meet our local team of heritage and environment consultants at our booth, and find out about our involvement in FNQ projects. We’ll also be holding colouring-in competition for kids, with cash prizes to be won!
“We’re really looking forward to being part of ECOfiesta and making new connections with our local community,” said Team Leader Cultural Heritage Jill Reid.
“This event is a great way for Niche to show our support for Cairns and our strong commitment to sustainable living.”
What’s on at ECOfiesta
The event program features Dirt Girl, Costa and more performances, hands-on workshops and a green-tech and sustainable living expo. There’s also a dedicated children’s program, food stalls and ecotourism prizes to be won.
ECOfiesta takes place 10am – 6pm on Sunday 2 June 2019 at Cairns Cruise Liner Terminal, Wharf Street, Cairns.
