Joshua Madden will lead the NSW historical heritage consulting team
Josh is an archaeologist and heritage manager with experience in large and complex transport infrastructure and urban development projects across NSW, QLD and VIC. He is recognised by the Heritage Division of NSW as an Excavation Director.
Josh has a highly developed understanding of the legislative frameworks and approval pathways within which projects operate. He draws on his experience – combined with use of the latest technologies – to provide best practice heritage advice and high quality reporting to support his clients’ projects.
“To me the most exciting aspect of archaeology and heritage is the ability it has to transport us back in to the stories of the past,” says Josh.
“I am dedicated to working collaboratively with my clients to deliver innovative and pragmatic heritage solutions that provide positive, tangible results for projects while engaging the public.”
Lawrence Smith, regional manager NSW, said “Josh’s high level of historical heritage expertise will bring great benefits to our clients, particularly those in the linear infrastructure, urban development and built environment sectors.”
