Evelyn Craigie has joined Niche Environment and Heritage as a senior ecologist, based at our head office in Sydney.
Evelyn has over 14 years’ professional experience and is an accredited BAM assessor under the Biodiversity Conservation Act 2016. Her qualifications include a master’s degree in Environmental Management and she is a member of the Ecological Consultants Association of NSW.
Evelyn has a strong understanding of the survey and management requirements of threatened species of the Central Coast region, having previously worked as an ecologist for Central Coast Council. She has also worked as a planning officer for the NSW Department of Planning and Environment.
Evelyn loves her work and feels fortunate to have experienced some truly amazing sights and moments during her career. Highlights include seeing the Channel Country in flood from a helicopter and visiting Kakadu National Park.
“I am delighted to have Evelyn joining the team. Her experience in the application of environmental and planning legislation will support our clients in finding innovative solutions to ecological challenges,” said ecology team leader Luke Baker.
