Niche’s Queensland team has expanded with the appointment of ecologist Lisa Carter.
Lisa is an experienced field scientist and has been working as a professional consultant for over 8 years. During this time, Lisa has undertaken ecological impact assessments, environmental management plans, environmental approvals and qualitative risk assessments for a variety of projects throughout WA and QLD, including remote sites, giving her exposure to a wide range of environments. She is a member of EIANZ and the Australian Network for Plant Conservation.
Lisa has particular expertise in identifying constraints and legislative requirements for linear infrastructure projects (including transmission lines, water pipelines and roads), power generation and the resources industry. Her key project experience includes a lead ecology role on the Logan Water Alliance delivering water infrastructure for Logan City Council and as contributing ecologist for the Columboola to Wandoan South 275 kV Transmission Line and Wandoan South Substation Project delivering ecological impact assessments and species management plans.
