Simon leads the Niche ecology team drawing on his extensive NRM career spanning 12 years working across private, government and NGO sectors. Simon has worked extensively as a consultant in NSW conducting ecological impact assessment, management planning, ecological monitoring and project management of medium to large projects.

Simon’s previous role with OEH has equipped him with a thorough knowledge of State and Federal planning frameworks and their application. He has a strong knowledge of threatened species assessment and recovery planning and is an accredited BAM and BioBanking assessor.

Simon has wide ranging fieldwork and project coordination skills. He has completed extensive terrestrial flora and fauna surveys throughout the Sydney Basin and remote areas of New South Wales. Simon has developed strong and effective oral and written communication skills as well as technical skills with GIS in mapping and analysis.

Simon combines his knowledge and experience with conservation principles to assist his clients in achieving robust and innovative solutions for their projects.
