The annual Hunter Mine Rehab conference attracts around 300 delegates from industry, government and academia to share and promote current best practice approaches in the management and rehabilitation of mined lands.
Niche has proven experience in delivering innovative, practical, risk-based and cost-efficient solutions to mine rehab projects, and so we are proud to support this important event. Niche will be represented at the conference by director Dr Rhidian Harrington and lead consultant from our Mudgee office, Vivien Howard.
Our team’s broad range of specialist services to mine rehab projects includes biodiversity management plans; offsetting strategy and accredited BioBanking; habitat recreation and restoration; subsidence impact monitoring of natural features and cultural heritage; mapping and remote sensing for large landscapes; water and soil management and erosion and sediment control plans.
The conference takes place 29-31 March 2017 at Muswellbrook. If you are attending, come and meet us at our exhibition booth. See the conference website for more details.
