Lucy Porter has recently joined Niche’s South Coast office as the latest addition to our growing multidisciplinary consulting team.
Lucy graduated from the Australian National University with a first class honours degree majoring in zoology, geography, management and corporate responsibility. She has 2 years’ professional experience as a field ecologist and has worked on projects for clients in councils, forestry and agricultural retail in Central Western NSW and ACT.
Lucy has experience in general flora and fauna survey, as well as targeted threatened species survey. She has particular skills in reptile and amphibian identification, wildlife handling and rescue.
Lucy has previously worked as a Field Ecologist in the ACT Government’s Conservation Research team, and as a Public Programs Officer at the Australian National Botanic Gardens. In addition to her field ecology skills, Lucy is an experienced data manager, education program manager and training facilitator.
